What We’re Saying: As Summer 2021 is officially underway, Kith is currently prepping the release of its new warm weather collection, which is slated to arrive in just a matter of days. The expansive assortment consists of more than 100 styles, including a standout collaboration with adidas Originals.
Ronnie Fieg and company are spotlighting a series of adidas classics for their latest Three Stripes project, as the collection includes icons like the Superstar, Samba, Campus 80s, Gazelle, Pro Model, and Country. We recently received our first look at the collab when Fieg himself took to Instagram to tease the assortment, ultimately revealing a noticeably clean lineup ideal for the summer months.
As Kith points out in an official press release, the Summer 2021 adidas collection is characterized by a minimalist approach that retains key elements from each model. The sneakers arrive with premium leather uppers, vintage cream soles, and pigskin suede stripes on the lateral sides. On each silhouette, the name of the sneaker is replaced with gold foil Kith branding, while additional co-branding hits emerge on the heels where a Kith classic logo can be found on the left shoe and the adidas Trefoil insignia on the right. The tongues then bear the year in which each silhouette was introduced to further commemorate the respective models.
