LEGO and Star Wars have added to their incredible selection of buildable sets with a new edition of the Tantive IV Rebel blockade runner seen in the opening shot of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. The model is a reissue of the 2009 edition.

Arriving in time for this year's May the Fourth celebrations and marking the 20th edition of the annual Star Wars Celebration (which this year gave us the first trailer for Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker), LEGO's new set comes with six Minifigures (one more than the 2009 OG): Princess Leia, C-3PO, R2-D2, Captain Antilles, a Rebel fleet trooper, and Leia's adoptive dad Bail Organa.

The Tantive IV is made up of 1,768 pieces (21 more than the OG) and measures more than 5 inches high, 24 inches long, and 7 inches wide. There are a number of thoughtful inclusions, including a radar dish that also functions as a handle for easy transport. The ship’s exterior also opens for access to playable areas such as the cockpit, cargo hold, conference room, and control console.

The new Tantive IV Rebel blockade runner is set for release on May 3 for LEGO VIPs and May 4 for everyone else. It retails for $200.
