Mercer Amsterdam was started two and a half years ago by one young man with a sneaker addiction, his brand is now sold in nine countries and over 70 carefully curated stores. You should tell that to your parents next time you ask for a new pair, perhaps you can sell them on the idea that you’ll one day establish your own brand.

Mercer holds a solid position on the ever-growing list of Dutch sneaker talent; the Urban Jungle Pack sees their signature Wooster Knit released in three exciting new colorways, each of which is limited to less than 100 pairs. Reimagined in Triple Black, Triple Grey, and Triple Tan, the knitted upper features a running sole and suede tongue, heel tab and side.

The pack is a continuation of the brand’s experimentation with sports luxe designs, the result is an Italian knit and suede upper, combined with a running sole. In order to guarantee the highest quality, the sneaker is knitted in a factory in Italy that specializes in the process used, working only with small and manageable batches to ensure attention is given to each piece.

Founder Pim Dresen has commented that he felt the fit of a lot of sneakers didn’t meet his needs, so he’s taken a proactive approach. Mercer has made comfort key when designing their various silhouettes, the Wooster Knit are half lined with a perforated calfskin and come with a gel-layered insole. Men’s sizes come with round waxed cotton laces while women’s sizes come with satin laces featuring silver ends.

You can pick up one of the limited pairs in both men’s and women’s sizes online and in-stores from May 20.
