Netflix has just issued a reboot of the '60s sci-fi classic Lost in Space. The series, which first aired in 1965, charted the trials and tribulations of the Robinson family as their attempt to return home following a mission to establish a colony in space goes awry.
In the new update, we now find the family aboard the Jupiter 2 spaceship in the year 2046. As their spacecraft encounters a rip in spacetime, the family crash land on a forgotten planet. Chancing upon a new alien species, the family is brought face-to-face with danger and their own interpersonal issues as they try to escape.
Starring Toby Stephens, Molly Parker, Ignacio Serricchio, Taylor Russell, Maxwell Jenkins, and Parker Posey, Netflix's Lost in Space will run for 10 episodes and is set to premiere April 13. For a look at the action-filled series ahead, check out the trailer above.
