Netflix debuted its ‘Strong Black Lead’ ad during the BET Awards on Sunday night. The spot features 47 of the streaming giant’s black creators and talents.

It serves to highlight the black artists working on projects with Netflix and comes just a few days after the streaming platform fired its top PR chief, Jonathan Friedland, for using the N-word on multiple occasions at work.

The commercial was conceived by Netflix’s in-house Strong Black Lead Team, which is a cross-functional group of employees spearheaded by black executives.

The legendary 1958 photograph, “A Great Day in Harlem,” serves as the inspiration for the commercial, which sees Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin narrate the commercial alongside the likes of Justin Simien (Dear White People), Alfre Woodard (Luke Cage), and Lena Waithe (Master of None).
