What We’re Saying: Following the release of the VS3, the OG New Balance 990v3 is set to be released in three original colorways: gray, navy blue, and black. Ahead of next year’s NB 990v6, the New England brand has dropped a variety of the model’s earlier versions — both collaborative and general releases. Most notable have been the collaborations with JJJJound, Joe Freshgoods, Bodega, and Kith, with the v3 receiving special attention.
There’s not much to say about the 990v3 that hasn’t already been said. It’s considered by many to be one of the best versions in the series, which has always stood for superior quality. Classic mesh makes up the base of the shoe, which is overlaid with leather and suedes. The sole unit features ECNAP cushioning.
