The Nike Air Force 1 Low is not an intrinsically cute shoe by any means. Its chunky sole unit and layered leather upper don’t have the kind of whimsy that, say, a lightweight adidas Mary Jane does.

That’s why it’s all the more impressive that the Nike Air Force 1 Low in Sail/Pink Foam is one of the cutest drops of the year so far.

Starting with a Sail base layer, the shoe has a beautifully subtle off-white color. Not only does this give the shoe a rich, creamy finish, but it really helps with styling options, opening up a world of neutrals that mesh effortlessly with the color.

On top of the central Sail color, Nike looks to two pink tones and uses them sparingly to ensure they have maximum effect.

The Swoosh is outlined by a striking bright pink which leads the eye to the heel tab. Delivered in soft baby pink complemented by dark pink logo, the heel tab defines the two-tone approach.

Soft pink continues in the lining as well as on the tongue tab which again combines the darker and lighter pink hues.

This design lands as part of the Nike Air Force 1 Summer Two Tone pack alongside five other two-tone colorways. Each is understated and proves that flashes of bold color against a clean canvas can be as impactful as all-out maximalism.
