Nike’s “Brothers of the World” event at Milan Design Week focused on the intersection of soccer and streetwear, honing in on one particular sportswear item: the jersey.

Nike calls the jersey the “most iconic symbol of every football fan’s passion for the game”. To highlight its significance to both fashion and soccer fans alike, Nike instigated several workshops to customize personal jerseys with guidance from Heron Preston, Matthew Williams of ALYX and designer Maria Ke Fisherman. The workshops were housed in the incredible Spazio Maiochhi, a 1000 square meter complex founded by Carhartt WIP, Slam Jam and Kaleidoscope Magazine to provide a new space for Milanese fashion, art and design to flourish.

Surrounded by some of the most striking jerseys of all time as inspiration, attendees were instructed on how to screen-print and attach logos to their own customized sportswear. Check out pictures from the workshops above.

In other style news LA-brand PLEASURES and ROKIT have just dropped a graphic-filled capsule.
