What We’re Saying: Previously believed to be called the “Thank You for Caring” Dunk Low, the “City Market” Nike Dunk Low has been officially unveiled by the Swoosh, with a release date set for March 4.

This pair is one of the more eclectic designs we’ve seen on a Dunk in recent times — and that’s saying a lot. Various durable materials are used on the upper, whose patchwork graphics are a nod to city markets and the packaging used to store supplies. Elements such as the tongue tag — which has been reimagined to resemble a nutrition facts label — or graphics that resemble reusable shopping, rice, and coffee bags, combine to result in an eye-catching, almost confusing aesthetic.

Flip through images of the project above and stay tuned for a list of retailers stocking the sneaker ahead of the March 4 release date.
