Editor’s Notes: Nike’s update of the Air Monarch, which Kanye West scoffed at, is the now highly popular M2K Tekno. With the silhouette having been released in several colorways both in men’s and women’s sizing, a new eye-catching reflective silver colorway for women has surfaced at Finish Line.

The M2K Tekno was initially only available in women’s sizing, coming out on May 19 in the US for $100. A series of drops in men’s sizes followed, much to the delight of sneakerheads around the world.

This new colorway, however, is limited to women’s sizing for the time being and costs $10 more than the regular releases, possibly due to the premium nature of the reflective colorway (although, bizarrely, it is currently reduced to $100 on Finish Line’s website). At the time of writing, Finish Line has sizes ranging from a US 6 to US 10 in stock. Shop the sneaker here.

“There is no question that the Monarch defines the look of the early 2000s, and after 16 years it has emerged as one the most iconic lines of that era,” said Nike designer Jin Hong at the time of the M2K Tekno’s release. “The goal in designing the M2K Tekno was to maintain the Monarch’s authentically bold stance while creating fresh features, thus revising what the Monarch could be for 2018.”
