For me, NOAH’s Barbour collaborations are up there with some of the cleanest.

It sounds simple: take an iconic British outerwear imprint and fuze it with the notes of a rebellious New York label’s street-savvy aesthetic. But, in reality, there’s more to it than that.

Since their first collaboration back in 2020 — when the pair dropped a collaboration that included takes on Barbour’s Bedale and Beaufort Wax jackets — the two label’s have teamed up on numerous occasions, the most recent of which was inspired by everyone’s favorite sailor, Popeye.

For Fall/Winter 2022, things are kept a little more subtle, as NOAH has its way with a myriad of Barbour styles, including the Bedale once again, which arrives in “Bold Red,” “Vibrant Green,” “Bright Orange,” and “Eye-Catching Blue.”

Alongside these block color designs is a camouflage jacket made out of waxed cotton with a contrasting light brown corduroy collar, as well as a selection of tees, sweaters, and accessories, including headwear, backpacks, and a washbag.

Speaking of the collaboration, Barbour’s Director of Menswear, Ian Bergin, said: “Brendon [Babenzien] (founder of NOAH) is a lifelong fan of Barbour. His interpretation of our heritage is always playful but respectful.

NOAH has a great sense of counterculture cool and are always great to work with. It’s a creative young brand,” he added.

While the collection — which landed online today — isn’t the wildest, it’s one of the most natural when it comes to two brands sharing both knowledge and designs.

For two brands to collaborate as much as these two have in such a short space of time is one thing, but for the results to continually hit is another completely. Keep ‘em coming, I say.
