Double Tap to Zoom

One of 2019's most anticipated sneaker collaborations releases tomorrow, as sacai's double-everything Nike LDWaffle and Blazer Mids are set to finally arrive. As NOTRE is one of a select few retailers stocking the collab, the shop chose to do something a little different with the release by helping promote a good cause.

NOTRE has joined forces with one of its favorite book stores, Open Books, an organization that also promotes literacy in Chicago. Beginning today, NOTRE is hosting a two-day book drive asking customers to donate at least four books to enter the raffle for the sacai x Nike sneakers. All of the books will then be given to Open Books, as they gift more than 150,000 books each year to kids in need.

To enter the raffle for a chance to purchase the sneakers you'll need to deliver a minimum of four books to NOTRE at 118 N. Peoria Street in Chicago today or tomorrow, May 29 and May 30. As there are four sneakers releasing in the collaboration, each book donated awards you with one raffle ticket, with a maximum of four tickets, although donating additional books is encouraged.
