Oakley’s collaborators of late read like a who’s who of brands worth knowing right now.

From Palace and Satisfy to Brain Dead and FRAGMENT, the American eyewear label is moving mad in the world of co-branded releases and, as it happens, the collaboration steam train doesn’t look like slowing down anytime either.

Boston and LA-based sneaker store Bodega recently took to Instagram to share a preview of a forthcoming link-up with Oakley, a collaboration that focuses on the BXTR, a frame honoring Baxter Street, a popular skate spot in LA.

Slated to be landing on July 21 (via the Bodega webstore for $220), Bodega x Oakley features a shield design and a modernized trigger stem inspired by Oakley’s original Razor Blade sunglasses, mixed with modern style to elevate individuality.

“With the Bodega x Oakley BXTR we use our first collab with the Big O to provide a key to the new world. One that has been hidden in plain sight all along,” reads one of Bodega’s three IG announcements.

As we say, Oakley has been on quite the rampage when it comes to collaborations so far this year, so it’s no surprise the link-ups are continuing this time with Bodega.

The only downside (for us as customers anyway) is that most things Bodega collaborates on sell-out almost instantaneously. Which means come July 21, we’ll have to have our wits about us if we're going to get our hands (or eyes?) on a pair, that’s for sure.
