What We’re Saying: Fans of Virgil Abloh have a lot to look forward to in the weeks and months ahead. With 50 colorways of the Dunk on the way, as well as an Air Jordan 2 collaboration and Louis Vuitton Air Force 1s — just to name a few — the remainder of the year is about to be stacked with Abloh-designed footwear releases. Next up is the designer's previously-teased take on Nike's performance runner, the Air Zoom Tempo NEXT%.

After being previewed late last year, the time has finally come for the Off-White™ x Nike Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% to hit SNKRS. So far, we see two of the three colorways in the "Black" and "Pink Glow" scheduled to arrive on July 23, while it remains to be seen when the "White/Solar Red" iteration will become available.

The Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% is recognized as one of Nike's most innovative running silhouettes, designed specifically to go fast. Based on the brand's premier racing shoe, the Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT%, the Tempo NEXT% features ZoomX foam in the footbed for superior energy return and a visible Zoom Air unit for even more spring.

For the Off-White™ design, Abloh has done what he so often does, deconstructing the sneaker and then applying his signature graphics. A standout feature on the collaborative shoe, we find a rubber spiked outsole implemented to recall race day on the track, as the sneaker itself is inspired by prototypes and runners all across the world. The midsole bears Virgil's customary "AIR" branding, while the medial side of the shoe incorporates his signature Off-White™ Helvetica font. And of course, each pair comes with that intriguing zip-tie, which you can learn more about here.

As the "Black" and "Pink Glow" colorways of the Off-White™ x Nike Air Zoom Tempo NEXT% are confirmed to release on July 23, coinciding with the opening ceremony for the Tokyo Olympics, you can brush up on past Off-White™ x Nike drops in the meantime here.
