Since 2013, Prince Innocence has been setting the mood on the dance floor with their atmospheric electro-pop tunes from Toronto. Today, we’re premiering the duo’s long-awaited Blue Star EP co-produced by Harrison, Joel Ford and Jim Anderson. In an email to Highsnobiety, Talvi Faustmann and Josh McIntyre explained how the project “marks a stylistic shift in sound, exploring the far reaches of pop music with deep experimental electronics.”

As you’ll soon hear, the synth-pop pair has broken away from cold wave and has adapted a warmer vibe that flirts with a little R&B while still remaining true to the aesthetic of their haunting and emotional soundscape. Scroll down and blast their full EP now across all streaming platforms.
