The first offering is out now from Reebok by Pyer Moss' Collection 3. Split into two drops, the second of which hits stores December 14, the story continues Kerby Jean-Raymond's exploration of the human condition and bringing light to forgotten stories as another chapter of his "American, Also."

The concept of Sankofa is a major theme for Collection 3. It's a Twi word from the Akan tribe in Ghana that translates to "Go back and get it" and is represented visually by a bird fetching an egg from its back that's integrated into several key pieces in the collection. Marginalized people reclaiming their history and narrative is the primary thesis of "American, Also."

In addition to men's and women's apparel, Collection 3 introduces the Pyer Moss Experiment 4 "Fury Trail" sneaker. It was designed as a sacred object split into three layers representing the journey of people who climb to success by creating something sacred in the face for adversity. The concept is quite literal, with the mudguard representing the fight against boundaries, the luxurious upper representing success, and the inner and outer tongues, as well as lining, representing emotion,
