Questlove is making a case for Crocs at formal red carpet events.

Following his gilded Crocs at the 2021 Oscars, the award-winning musician stepped on the 2022 Grammys red carpet showing off his Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog "Sasquatch" — a colorway that sadly won't be joining Bembury's next Crocs rollout.

Crocs aren't the most formal footwear for an award ceremony, but that's the point.

A few years ago, Crocs on the red carpet would be out of the question. But, Questlove's overall laxed approach to formalwear — which includes oversized silhouettes, casual trousers, and now Crocs clogs — pushes forward the norms of black-tie dressing while indulging in comfort.

Forget those old stiff dress shoes and heels, Crocs and sneakers me, please!

In light of Questlove's latest clog moment at music's biggest night out, it's time we take a stroll through the award-winning musician's past red carpet moments featuring the popular Crocs clogs.

For the 2022 Oscars, Questlove — outfitted in his cozy black ensemble — definitely didn't make our worst fits list, especially not with his custom Crocs on foot.

In fact, Questlove's one-of-one black Crocs clogs — featuring woolen face embellishments created by Natassja E. Swift — proved to be the perfect footwear selection for his first Oscar win.

Questlove brought a splash of color to the Ghostbusters: Afterlife premiere in 2021, opting for rainbow Crocs clogs paired a patchwork shirt, purple quilt-lined jacket, and black jeans on the red carpet.

While others are donning ball gowns and tuxes, Questlove's casual look is just cool, casual, and relatable.

It's not truly festival season until Questlove's Crocs and t-shirt says so. Sorry, I don't make the rules here.

Don't mind me. I'm just admiring (and getting blinded by) Questlove's golden Crocs, worn to the 2021 Oscars.

Losing an Oscar — or any award, for that matter — is meaningless when you get to take these home.

The Roots drummer's kimono fit for the EE British Academy Film Awards 2022 was already clean as is. But, the inclusion of the paint-splatted Crocs really sealed the deal.

With another paint-streaked Crocs clog in his massive clogs rotation matched with a dapper all-black look, Questlove makes a case for modern-day red carpet style, elevating the unofficial creative's shoe to the realm of true artistes.
