Editor’s Notes: Raf Simons and Fred Perry continue their relationship for SS21, reworking archive pieces from the British brand to reference various subcultures. This time, the link-up taps London's iconic ’80s nightlife, incorporating Brian Flynn-shot images of nights out at the 100 Club across 1982 and 1983. Elsewhere, an "RS"-branded needle — which allows you to take off the prints and customize other pieces with them as you please — references the DIY fashion of club kids of the era.

Speaking on his photographs that feature in the collection, Brian Flynn explained, “I’d just left school and was training to be a builder. It was the first time I was earning money and I bought a camera to capture my nights out with friends. I’d put my film in to be processed before work at 8 A.M. and pick it up after work at 5 P.M., selecting the best ones for a photo album I still treasure today.”

The complete SS21 Raf Simons x Fred Perry collection drops on May 13 on Fred Perry's webshop.
