Founded in 2007, Reigning Champ has been supplying the world with premium sportswear for enough time to be referred to as an expert in the field. But calling it sportswear feels wrong because it’s a lot more than that.

Carrying the small details and supreme simplicity of sportswear, Reigning Champ reaches higher, combining them with a sense of luxury and casual style. The drop of Reigning Champ x Junya Watanabe is absolute proof of this.

Few designers come as well respected as Junya Watanabe. A major part of the canon of Japanese fashion, there’s no surprise he had a track dedicated to him on Ye’s Donda album. With a reputation like that, Watanabe only collaborates with the best.

For Reigning Champ x Junya Watanabe, Watanabe reimagines two of Reigning Champ’s signature styles. The Lightweight Terry Crewneck and the Lightweight Terry Sweatpant.

Incorporating his trademark eYe graphic — a symbol for collaboration — the high-quality French Terry pieces are given a visual raise with a paisley flock print. As for the Slim-Fit Sweatpants, a transformative drop-crotch silhouette is added, retailored with a zip fly, tonal woven pockets to the reverse, and a roomier overall fit around the thigh.
