Rihanna has reportedly signed a 10-year lease to open a Savage X Fenty store in New York City, a win for the Bad Gal's Big Apple-based Navy.

The move is part of the lingerie brand's wider expansion into brick-and-mortar retail, first announced in January.

Savage X Fenty, which originally launched on a direct-to-consumer business model, has already opened physical locations in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. The brand confirmed additional stores in Philadelphia, Houston, and Washington, D.C. — a roster that noticeably lacked NYC and other major hubs such as Miami and Chicago.

However, Rih is full of surprises (see: pregnancy announcement), and could've had an NYC store up her sleeve all along.

According to WWD, the flagship will take over Brooklyn's Triangle Building, located at 182 Flatbush Avenue — walking distance from Barclays Center, as well as major retailers including Apple, adidas, and lingerie competitor Victoria's Secret.

With additional stores in the pipeline, as well as hundreds of millions in recent funding, Savage X Fenty is destined for an eventful year. In fact, the brand is reportedly plotting expansion into new categories including swimwear, homeware, and shapewear (SKIMS x Savage X Fenty when?).

And with Rih's baby on the way, the development of a Savage X Fenty maternity line isn't such a far-fetched possibility. (Her belly-out pregnancy 'fits have been absolutely killer, to put it lightly.)
