Introducing Shopper: Highsnobiety's weekly bulletin on what buyers shop, shoppers buy, and editors really think about what's happening in the marketplace. Here, curation meets opinion, for an honest, topical rundown of the fashion, grooming, and lifestyle products we want our community to know about. To dig even deeper, head to the Shopping tab.

Nearly a week into the final month of 2025, it felt appropriate to take a look at some of the year's last minute highlights in retail. Be it for the sake of gift shopping or a purely personal treat, the below contains the curtain call insights, launches, and products that excited us on our readership's behalf.

Wishlist Intel: The Functionality-Meaning Paradigm

As something of a scene-setting lowdown on seasonal trivia, I decided to start off by alerting you to Highsnobiety's very own Data team's most recent learnings: In asking members of our expansive Rolodex network, it became apparent that folks below the age of 30, specifically, are weary of overconsumption and thus opting out of generic holiday gestures, seeking to both buy and receive only specified items of interest instead.

Their home is their sanctuary and needn't be cluttered with random decor presents, neither is their closet desperate for new contents they haven't explicitly voiced a desire for. Functionality and meaning are top priorities, especially pertaining to self care, wellbeing, and a high quality everydayness. Out with arbitrary lotions, in with fancy olive oils and K-Beauty; TEKLA bedding and niche fragrances; Lululemon's lounge and active apparel; Oura Rings and movie projectors. It's a spectrum, okay?

Nike Just Did It. Twice

On the topic (ish) of athleisure then, let's call some attention to Nike and Jacquemus’ latest joint offering. Admittedly, it took a little time for this pairing to really take flight, but once those wings were fully spread, they soared. Case-in-point post-Moon Shoe is a skiing collection, within which to find is a standout boxy alpine bomber and a red hot figure-hugging lycra top. Cliché incoming, but defying the ice has rarely ever looked this fire.

Continuing this winning streak, we're also salivating over the Swoosh's cream and pecan-colored Vomeros. If there was ever a shoe to help undo the footwear world's slender sneaker obsession, it'd be either of these. First stumbled upon at The Broken Arm, the shoes are readily available, in surprisingly many sizes still, at Nike too.

House(ware) Party!

Elsewhere on the aforementioned Parisian boutique's site, notice Rick Owens’... candle?! Yes, correct, a Rick Owens candle. Having inhaled its scents at his showroom not long ago, it smells as dark and twistedly sweet as the designer's best fashions, and'd make for the perfect multi-sensory stocking stuffer.

As does, for that matter, Tom Sachs’ new book, Berlin Voo Store's 15 year anniversary Spirit Cleansing box, or Folie's Daily Routine set, the latter two of which arrive nearly beneath-tree-ready, in gorgeous, unique packaging. A feast for the eyes, and, well, the face, nose and mind, I guess?

Circling back to the whole functionality-meaning spectrum, there are debates to be had about how not everyone'll deem the same things meaningful, but how there are things that count as objectively functional. Insert here, at a 20% discount no less, Craighill's stylishly utilitarian office supplies, like its chrome flashlight, sleek ruler, and tape dispenser (to gift or to gift-wrap).

"What's in my [Cart]?"

Onto more subjective terrain, however, and a runthrough of what Highsnobs ought to want to wrap up in this winter, and where to retrieve it. You know, the whole we-did-the-digging-so-you-don't-have-to type-schpiel:

Some unassuming favorites from C.P. Company and Our Legacy's partnership are finally ready to be picked up over at Dover Street Market, including the two's brown knit quarter zip, their gray anorak, and blue field jacket. For underneath, why not one of CDG Play's heart-patch mesh tees, alongside an equally web-textured Nike Rejuven8 on foot?

In other outerwear news, sign ups are open for the imminent SKIMS x The North Face 2.0 drop, A Kind Of Guise and Nanamica had a beautiful baby, and New York's C’H’C’M’ boutique just pulled a fresh, steamy batch of Auralee delights out of the oven. These arctic puffers, contrast-collar barn coats, and twill button-downs, respectively, are best enjoyed… asap.

Hot Heads & Cold Feet

Go figure though, the human body actually loses most of its heat through the head, so a temperature-encasing hat's as important as gloves or a down-filled garment. The only Balaclava that is A, worth getting in spite of previous winters’ exhaustive onslaught of them, and B, going to fulfill said purpose, comes from Paloma Wool. And while you're at it, might as well snag the Spanish label's smart, sexy, slouchy crossbody bag, if even for no other reason than it being smart, sexy, and slouchy.

To shift focus from cold heads to cold feet, what'd this blackboard plastering of Q4 e-commerce best-ofs even be if it didn't end on a shoutout to boots. Exclamation point! Parraboot and Arpenteure's grainy calf leather Bergy boots, for instance, are bound to cost us much sleep and money, not unlike Palace and UGG's hilarious team-up (and pretty much everything else from the above).

Or thleep and money, rather, as poor old lispy Sylvester would say.
