Trust Netflix to wait until New Year's Eve to announce the release date for one of 2019's most hyped TV show arrivals: Stranger Things Season 3.

The announcement was delivered via a trailer cut to look like an old episode of Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. This version, however, is hosted by a Hawkins, Indiana TV channel — 5 WIYZ — and brought to you by Starcourt Mall, where we already know most of Season 3 will be set. Watch below.

As the clock counts down towards midnight, the trailer glitches to reveal a cryptic message that reads, "When Blue and Yellow Meet In The West," before tweaking out and leaving us with fireworks, a crowd signing "Auld Lang Syne," and the following words: "One Summer can change everything. July 4, 1985. July 4, 2019."

Meaning that our next installment of Eleven and the gang will land on Independence Day, 2019.
