Warner Bros. has kept the avalanche of Suicide Squad promo clips rolling in with a new featurette that shows off a ton of new footage and goes behind the scenes with the film's main actors.
Titled "It's Good To Be Bad," the clip kicks off with director David Ayer remarking, “How do you make an audience fall in love with the villains? Everybody loves the good guys.” It then delves deeper into Ayer’s directing style, the intense physical training the cast underwent, and the relationships that were built between the various cast members.
Interspersed with new footage from the film are quotes from all the main actors. “It’s not a movie about good versus evil,” says Will Smith, who plays Deadshot. “It’s a movie about bad versus evil.” While Margot Robbie, who plays Harley Quinn, adds, “We’re bad people doing a good thing.”
Suicide Squad is set for release on August 5 and follows intelligence officer Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) as she assembles a team of dangerous supervillains for a covert mission.
