In the run-up to the third official Transformers: The Last Knight trailer, scheduled to release next week on Wednesday, April 12, Paramount Pictures has unveiled an intermittent visual segment teasing us of a very potential unveiling of "the secret history of Transformers."

Scheduled to be the fifth big-screen franchise entry, Transformers: The Last Knight will deconstruct all of the core myths and resulting questions that have helped form the series into what we now know it to be today. With Optimus Prime out of the picture, humans and Transformers are locked in a heated, redefining war where the key to saving the future of both races is said to lie within the secrets of the past, and in the soon-to-be-revealed history of the earth-dwelling Transformers that have populated previous installments.
