Tyler, the Creator’s IGOR album release date
At the end of April, a financial report from Sony circulated online, suggesting that Tyler, the Creator would be releasing a new album before July. We now know this to be true, with IGOR due out May 17 via Columbia.
Tyler, the Creator’s IGOR album tracklist
While no official tracklist has been revealed, Tyler, the Creator has shared two teasers from IGOR so far. He dropped the first clip May 1 on YouTube, now titled “IGOR’S THEME,” with “WHATSGOOD” following May 3. On May 13, he released yet another clip titled “a boy is a gun*,” as well as a taste of a Santigold collab called “New Magic Wand,” which are thought to appear on the album. Check out the clips below.
In terms of how many tracks we should expect, let’s take a look at the length of Tyler’s previous projects. 2010’s Bastard was 15 songs long, Goblin also 15, Wolf – 18, Cherry Bomb – 13, and most recently, Flower Boy clocked in at 14 tracks. The average of all of these is 15 tracks, so perhaps we can expect around that number from IGOR.

Although Tyler wrote, produced, and arranged all the songs on IGOR, we still expect him to pull in some incredible guests artists as always. Tyler, the Creator featured on Solange’s most recent album When I Get Home on “Down With the Clique,” so perhaps the Saint Records boss will return the favor on IGOR? Only time will tell.
