Ahead of the July 14 release, here we showcase the final trailer for Matt Reeves's War for the Planet of the Apes. With the war between man and ape set to usher in a third chapter, we find out just how Caesar has become the leader of the apes.

The new trailer in turn centers around preparation for an undeniably epic battle, as Caesar (Andy Serkis) is poised to square off against a rather aggressive colonel, played by Woody Harrelson.

A few spoilers are also sprinkled into the aesthetic, so be forewarned.

The successor to 2014's Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, War for the Planet of the Apes lands in theaters July 14.
