Double Tap to Zoom

We're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz...Nike Dunks?

Nike SB has been quite busy this year, readying more skate-fied Nike classics and dishing out the best colorways of the Vertebrae yet. Now, the skateboarding division is seemingly preparing a Nike Dunk Low inspired by the Wizard of Oz movie.

There are no official images of the Nike SB sneaker or early glimpses from leakers. But according to sneaker pages, the Wizard of Oz x Nike SB Dunk Low sneaker will follow a red color scheme, echoing the main character Dorothy Gale's memorable sparkly ruby slippers.

In the film, Dorothy clicks her heels together to take her back home. What happens if you tap the Dunks together? Maybe you'll magically appear in a Nike archive or something (I'm joking, of course).

The Nike SB Wizard of Oz Dunks are also expected to naturally incorporate other elements from the movie, including Dorothy's famous quote, "There is no place like home."

There may be no place like home, but there is nothing quite like a clever Nike SB Dunk, too. And so far, the Wizard of Oz Dunks sounds like another goodie.

Nike SB's Wizard of Oz Dunk Low sneakers are expected to skip down the yellow brick road during Holiday 2024, launching a skate-ready treat for both sneakerheads and Oz diehards.

Perfect timing for Wicked premiere 'fits, too.
