Woolrich

Goodbye summer and hello Woolrich Fall/Winter 2021 "Authentic" Collection.

As the last of the summer days have passed us, the time for layers and cold weather-ready outerwear has arrived, and we couldn't be more pleased.

Woolrich has been at the forefront of outdoor wear for almost 200 years, standing the test of time to become the oldest manufacturer of outdoor wear in the United States. Despite the ever-changing nature of functional gear, the brand has stayed true to its founding principles and committed to the environments that birthed it, in turn keeping Woolrich as the center of global subcultural movements.

The Fall/Winter 2021 "Authentic" collection is presented as a concise lineup of seasonal wardrobe staples, built on signature pieces that can be found throughout the brand's archive. If you're looking to update your vintage Woolrich plaid shirt, you're in luck.

Authentic archival shapes and designs are used as points of reference throughout the mini-collection, with contemporary updates to fabrication and build.

The Drizzle Jacket, for example, is based on a blouson from the 1950s that has been updated using a recycled cotton polyester twill weave, rounded collar, vintage zippers, and functional strapped pocket at the rear. Woolrich's exploration through time continues with the Mountain Parka, an altered-length version of the 70s jacket of the same name.

Water repellent fabrics are utilized throughout the collection, creating perfect transitional pieces in an easy-wearing palette of blue, beige, black, and green.

The Woolrich Fall/Winter 2021 Authentic collection is available now via Woolrich Japan.
