Double Tap to Zoom

It’s one of the most well-known New York tropes out there: if you can make it New York, you’ll make it anywhere. But what does that really mean? Cutting your teeth in the global capital of hustle culture denotes a respectable ability to rise above the grit and grime and elevate oneself to something higher.

What makes Zoo York different is that it has achieved this elevation without needing to elevate itself from the streets and sidewalks of the city itself. For Zoo York, New York’s streets aren't just a backdrop; they're an integral part of its DNA. Every crack and crevice of the city has left its mark on the brand's identity, and it's this raw, unfiltered essence that sets Zoo York apart from the rest.

Its story starts in 1993, when skateboarders Rodney Smith, Eli Morgan Gessner, and Adam Schatz, inspired by the legacy of The Soul Artists of Zoo York, one of New York City's first skate crews, created the first ever New York-inspired skateboard brand. Zoo York’s impact has been felt on the skate scene ever since, impacting wider street fashion in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Fast forward to 2024, and the iconic streetwear brand is reclaiming its roots, bringing forth a resurgence of style, energy, and attitude. While skateboarding remains at the brand's core, the new collections extend beyond the board, offering pieces for everyday wear. From sleek sneakers with chunky 90s skate laces to cozy hoodies and long-sleeved shirts, Zoo York's latest offerings embrace versatility without sacrificing the practical strength and durable construction needed for skateboarders.

A monochromatic palette of black, beige, and white serves as the canvas, punctuated by vibrant bursts of red, green, and blue—a nod to the changing seasons and the spirit of renewal. Throughout the collection, the iconic Zoo York logo shines.

Among the standout pieces is the Hot Dog Long-sleeved Shirt, featuring a playful mustard-written logo on the back—a perfect blend of New York charisma and skate mecca Barcelona’s sunshine.

Welcome back, Zoo York.
