On June 23 this year, the British people will go to the polls to decide whether or not they wish to stay as members of the European Union or a faded, broken empire of one sat on its periphery.
Famed photographer, Wolfgang Tillmans – a German-born London resident of mixed Polish-Spanish descent is firmly in the “stay” camp, and recently came out in defense of the EU in an open letter posted on his official website, urging the unregistered and the undecided to keep the Union together with their votes.
In addition to this impassioned plea, which 032c republished on its website, Tillmans has mocked up some free-to-share posters that can be printed off and distributed IRL or shared via social media. Some of them are straight-up bold text, while others combine said text with atmospheric shots reminiscent of the sort of motivational posters that may have hung on your classroom wall.
Head over to Wolfgang Tillmans’ homepage to read the letter and spread the word.
