Alessandro Michele continues to work with Glen Luchford for the Gucci Fall 2016 campaign. Using Tokyo as the backdrop for this latest effort, the two once again excel with their unique cinematic and surreal style. The bright lights and chaotic cityscapes of the Japanese capital are perfect for the latest campaign of the Italian fashion house and the look that Michele has been establishing over the last few seasons. Models of the campaign include Petra Collins, Lia Pavlova, Polina Oganicheva, Mae Lapres, Sofia Friesen, Jack Chambers, Chistopher Paskowski, Joep Van de Sande and Yan Kumra. They explore the diverse neighborhoods of Tokyo, they visit a cherry blossom garden, and hit the busy crossroads of Harajuku and Shibuya. The overall look of the campaign is as if stills had been taken from a film, complete with subtitles. All in all this latest Fall 2016 campaign by Alessandro Michele and Glen Luchford has a strong Lost in Translation vibe.
