A new Amazon docuseries is going to bare all on the sex-fueled life of Hugh Hefner next month. American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story, will combine theatric re-enactments of Hefner’s life with interviews and rare footage from his personal archive.

The trailer, which was released today and is available to watch above, gives us a brief but teasing look at what the series will cover across Hefner’s long and sometimes scandalous life. Celebrities like Gene Simmons and Jesse Jackson have also been brought in to reveal new stories, promising to give an unprecedented look at the rise of his Playboy magazine.

All episodes are set to drop on Amazon Prime April 7, and those without a paid subscription can watch the pilot episode for free between April 7-13.

The series comes at a time when Playboy seems to be struggling with its role and image in modern society. Last year it announced it would stop publishing pictures of nude women, only to reverse the decision earlier this year.

In other news, The Matrix is reportedly getting a reboot.
