Back in 2005, comedian Dave Chappelle walked away from the spotlight seemingly at the height of his success. Upon leaving his critically-acclaimed sketch comedy show, many of course wondered why. Now in a new interview with CBS, Chappelle provides some insight as to why he had to call it quits.

To help explain his mindset, Dave referenced an analogy that he came across while watching a nature show. In short, Chappelle felt like he was becoming trapped and subsequently exploited for his talents.
