Where the runway meets the street

Gucci has unveiled the lookbook for its Men’s Cruise Collection 2018, shot by photographer Elaine Constantine. Inspired by Athens, Greece, the lookbook sees models sport Grecian-style gold headbands while posing among ancient ruins — with the occasional animal friend to keep them company.

Of course, it being an Alessandro Michele-designed collection, the looks definitely aren’t simple. The collection features everything from ultra-formal styles — pattern suits, blazers, loafers — to laid back with sneakers, shorts and tracksuits.

This same collection inspired three separate plagiarism allegations against Gucci when it first debuted on the runway, with accusations that the fashion house ripped off Dapper Dan gaining the most traction. See the full lookbook below.
