RRL unveils a new limited edition capsule drawing inspiration from the authentic spirit of Ralph Lauren’s iconic label, Polo Western.

Polo Western by Ralph Lauren was founded in 1978 as a tribute to rugged American style. Here, RL blends the Western wear influences from Polo Western with Double RL design from today.

The 11-piece assortment features a mix of selvedge denim, signature sportswear and sturdy outerwear. The unlined, wool double face blanket coat with a Southwestern beacon print and shearling collar has in turn been reproduced in detail from the original ranch coat in the Polo Western collection, while the Italian suede sport coat boasts hand-finished fringe detail, ultimately a nod to a signature design from the original release. The tanned leather vest is an archival design from Ralph Lauren’s personal collection of Western wear, noting hand-embroidered stitching and hand-braided tassel closures. The cotton twill work jacket and a denim vest then feature stitched detail representative of the original Polo Western denim, and the Western shirt is reissued in various fabrics including denim, cotton with floral embroidery, and Japanese buffalo plaid wool.

You can shop the styles this month at select Ralph Lauren stores and online.
