For its next trick, Nike will bring back the Olympic 6s, apparently.

According to the sneaker rumor mill, the Air Jordan "6 "Olympic" is expected to return in 2024, perfect timing for next year's Olympic Games in Paris.

As of right now, there's no official let alone early looks at the 2024 Olympic 6s. But fans are hoping for a near-original look, shading and all.

The Paris Games may have an official date (July 26 to August 11, 2024), but the rumored Olympic 6s are still awaiting launch details. For now, murmurs say the pairs will arrive sometime during Fall 2024.

The iconic Olympic colorway has decorated a few Nike shoes over the years, but its appearances on the Jordan 6 and Jordan 7 sneakers certainly reign supreme.

With the Olympic 6s, we see the Porsche-inspired design dressed in an undoubtedly patriotic colorway. White and Midnight Navy colorblocking tops the upper of smooth and perforated leather layers. At the same time, hints of Varsity Red add pops of color here and there, as showcased on the Jumpman logos and the Jordan 6's traditional lace lock.

The Olympic AJ6 sneakers were first released in 2000 in honor of the 2000 Olympic Games, where the U.S. took the gold for the year's basketball tournaments (both the men's and women's teams).

The pairs would grace the feet of star players like Ray Allen and Vin Baker on their road to victory at the major 2000 event.

Nike brought back the Olympic 6s in 2012 during the London Games (and yes, the U.S. took home the gold then, too). While the 2012 retros boasted some teeny tiny updates, it was still almost identical to the OGs.

While the pairs did get a golf spin this year, the icon is back...well, if rumors prove true.
