Editor’s Notes: When Aries teams up with New Balance, you know we're in for a treat. We've previously seen Aries take on the 327 as well as the 990v3, and this time, something different is brewing.
The London-based label has dressed the 1080v11 silhouette – a shoe that runners will be familiar with – in a bright red hue, contrasted by neon yellow detailing, a black gradient, and reflective logo branding at the lateral.
"Running is the ultimate solo experience as “Unbalanced” captures the parallel between a changing and evolving landscape and the fantastic journey of the mind and imagination as the 2020/2021 lockdowns have shown us the meditative and escapist experience of running, in its potential for us to commune with nature," the label explains.
Our view on exercise and running has definitely changed since living through a pandemic, and since most of us probably tried to take up running at least once in the past two years, it only makes sense that Aries would make running even more exciting with a bright and bold shoe.
Of course, there's also apparel arriving as part of the collaboration, which includes a fleece, a vest, as well as a jacket and tights, all following the same black-and-red color palette.
