Last week, ASICS Tiger celebrated the launch of the new GEL-Kayano Trainer Knit in Berlin.
Partnering with Neulant van Exel, a German firm that specializes in multimedia installations, ASICS built out a set of footwear displays inside St. Agnes, a recently renovated church in the city's Kreuzberg neighborhood. Local sneakerheads filled the venue in support of the launch, as well as to enjoy libations and DJ sets by Sarah Farina and Yo Van Lenz.
In case you missed it, check out a video recap of the party above and some photos below.

Designed with modern sneakerheads in mind, this new take on ASICS' GEL-Kayano features a one-piece full-knit upper in a simple monochrome pack, with white and black options. The accompanying campaign film shines a light on the global ASICS community that proudly rocks their kicks.
Those in attendance could also upload sneaker photos with the hashtag #TigerKnit, with the chance to have their shot shared on Highsnobiety's Instagram. The image of the night was taken by @fuckinyeh.
