The back and forth between Elon Musk and Azealia Banks has been quite the saga over the last month, but it looks like it might be coming to an end. In a surprising turn of events, Banks has taken to Instagram to share an image of the apology letter she sent to Musk "a few days ago."

Stating that the two are "now the co-stars of pop culture's latest fan-fiction," the 27-year-old rapper claimed she feels "terrible about everything." After "apologizing for all the painful events" her actions have "exacerbated," she extended an invitation to meet in person and "formally introduce" herself.

The apology arrives after Banks, over several social media postings, said that spending time at the Tesla CEO's house was like a "real [life] episode of Get Out," and that he's "too stupid to know not to go on Twitter while on acid." Attorneys have supposedly been involved, social media accounts have been unfollowed and deactivated, interviews have been given — for a full breakdown of everything that's been going down, peep our brief history of the Musk, Banks, and Grimes beef.
