The latest chapter in Bad Bunny and adidas’ collaborative partnership has surfaced in the form of a deconstructed adidas Gazelle Indoor.

Photos of Bad Bunny's adidas sneaker, which began taking over my social feeds on April 26, offer a detailed look at the range of updates the Un Verano Sin Ti singer has added to the classic adi shoe.

Most notable is the asymmetric suede paneling on the toe of the sneaker, twisted to one side so that it reaches around to adidas’ famous three stripes.

More subtle, small details also reveal themselves in these close-up images. The size tag, for example, is stitched onto the outside of the shoe, finding itself on the heel. Meanwhile, the tongue and padding around the top of the shoe make for a more chunky shape.

Overall, it feels like the most substantial upgrade that Bad Bunny has given to an adidas sneaker in their continued collaborative partnership. And, in my opinion, it will be their best release to date (there's no official information on when the shoe will be available to buy, yet).

The Puerto Rican musician and German sportswear label first announced their partnership in 2021 and in the time since then they’ve released a lot of sneakers.

It began with a slew of Forum Low colorways, followed by his squiggly-panelled take on the Response CL (a shoe that’s also been released in a wide range of colorways), and, most recently, a range of chunky adidas Campus sneakers.

All of these previous releases were lapped by his huge fanbase, and continue to be, but this new Gazelle takes things to the next level. Despite sticking to the sneaker's most classic colorway (white and black with a gum sole), it is unlike any other adidas Gazelle I’ve ever seen.
