Balenciaga has come through with yet another tongue in cheek accessory drop.
Its new keychains, optioned in pink or blue, are a riff on the Little Trees air fresheners which can be found hanging from car rearview mirrors across the globe. Unlike the disposable types, however, these 100 percent leather pieces are pure luxe, and feature interlocking gold rings. A gilded inscription of the brand's Paris HQ — 40 rue de Sèvres — is featured at the base of the piece.
It's not the first time Balenciaga has looked to everyday objects for inspiration, having most famously revamped the IKEA Frakta bag. Last season, the Demna Gvasalia-helmed house revealed a keychain based off a hotel key tag.
