adidas Originals has announced that it will be launching a partnership with none other than Beyoncé. The pop star will serve as a creative partner for the brand and be tasked with introducing new signature footwear and apparel to the market.

Part of the deal also includes relaunching Beyoncé’s Ivy Park brand in collaboration with adidas. This partnership is based on a set of core principles, which include the importance of women in leadership, shared ownership, empowerment, and collaboration.

“This is the partnership of a lifetime for me,” Beyoncé said in a press statement. “adidas has had tremendous success in pushing creative boundaries. We share a philosophy that puts creativity, growth and social responsibility at the forefront of business. I look forward to re-launching and expanding Ivy Park on a truly global scale with a proven, dynamic leader.”
