Although the teaser trailer is decidedly light on plot points, consider us completely hyped for the upcoming original series on Hulu, Castle Rock, which is a pairing of J.J. Abrams' and Stephen King's storytelling sensibilities.

Deriving its name from the fictional Maine locale which has been utilized or mentioned in prominent King works like The Dead Zone, Cujo, The Body, Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption, It, Pet Cemetery and more, what we do know about the series is that it will focus on a man returning home and his relationship with an inmate (Bill Skarsgård from It) at Shawshank Prison.

We also understand that the first season will be a standalone anthology and subsequent seasons will find new characters and plot lines - similar to the framework established by American Horror Story and Fargo.

Castle Rock will premiere in 2018.
