Rumor has it: the CLOT x Nike era is coming to a close.

According to murmurs, CLOT and Nike's partnership will allegedly end soon, but only after the two minds get off one more shoe collaboration together.

Funny enough, CLOT co-founder Edison Chen recently teased first looks at CLOT's next Nike Dunk Low collaboration as partnership whispers revved up in the streets. Could this be a glimpse at the last-ever CLOT x Nike shoe?

Well, it's hardly beating the allegations, that's for sure. CLOT's collaborative Dunk emerges in Nike's "What The" concept, boasting various prints and details nodding to CLOT's Nike shoes over the years.

In early looks, you'll notice moments like metallic silver (Dunk High "Flux"), patterned tearaway silk (Air Force 1 collabs), and even a clear toe-box and speckled sole (Kiss of Death AM1s). It's like a sneaker ode to CLOT and Nike's lengthy friendship filled with CLOT's unique touches.

Perhaps, CLOT is closing out its Nike chapter — in "What The" fashion, at that.

When can we expect the shoes to drop? CLOT's "What the CLOT" Nike Dunk Low collaboration is rumored to drop in August, more than likely at Juice's website and stores.

Since 2006, CLOT and Nike have issued impressive collaborations, from Air Max 1s to gleaming Dunks, each drawing inspiration from Chinese culture and usually finished with some surprise design element.

The What the CLOT Dunks follow a string of back-to-back link-ups, including the corked-up Dunks and CLOTEZ shoes (yet another iconically named pair).

As far as what's next for CLOT, the Chinese brand could be making the move to adidas next, apparently.
