After officially becoming the face of Gucci’s fall campaign and confirming of a collaborative capsule with the elite Italian luxury brand, Dapper Dan's partnership with the company has now led to the opening of a new Gucci boutique in Harlem -- the very first time a major luxury brand has opened in the storied neighborhood of Manhattan.

Dapper Dan himself tweeted out the news, sharing, "A sign of the times. For the 1st time in history, a major luxury brand store has opened in Harlem: Gucci by Dapper Dan Harlem with made-to-order garments for your taste & in your specific measurements, I will create your design from your mind, or come up with a design for you."

Furthermore, the new boutique will have made-to-order garments and will carry limited edition items and accessories available for purchase by appointment.

This collaboration comes after Gucci was accused of copying Dapper Dan’s iconic looks for its Cruise 2018 collection, which you can revisit here.
