Usually, it's really difficult to get a group of people to agree on something, but when it comes to Glenn Martens' Diesel collections, everyone loves them.

It goes without saying that the Y/Project designer has brought a whole new energy to the label, taking it from nearly forgotten to one of the biggest brands in the spotlight right now. I really ask myself how much sleep Glenn Martens gets, because he's been booked and busy this year.

Usually, I try to stay away from buying trendy items, because I'm always conscious that I'm only buying them because I'm seeing them everywhere, but when it comes to Diesel's new bag, I know that I desperately need one.

Priced below $500 USD, it is also the perfect affordable bag that is trendy – but will become a timeless classic, thanks to Glenn Martens – and comes in plenty of sizes and colors.

Right now, Coperni's Swing bag is also having a moment (even the glass version!), and it seems like some of fashion's biggest names are ditching luxury giants for more affordable options – a move that is being welcomed by younger consumers.

We've already spotted it out and about on plenty of celebrities, including Emma Chamberlain at Coachella, Kylie Jenner, Miley Cyrus, and more, and names like Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Nas X, and Angus Cloud have been spotted wearing apparel from the brand. Everyone loves Diesel, and it isn't surprising.

If someone would've told me five years ago that I'd be itching to buy Diesel, and that the label would have this summer's it-bag, I probably wouldn't have believed it. But alas, here I am scrolling through the label's website, ready to whip my card out and place an order.

It isn't just the clothes and accessories that are cool, the whole brand is.

Martens has managed to bring back the cool factor that Diesel once possessed, and has also introduced it to a whole new audience: Gen Z.

Using provocative blow-up dolls at his fashion show, creating sex toys, tapping the coolest names in the business, and creating something new, Diesel has completely stolen the show.

If you're thinking about purchasing a piece from Glenn Martens' Diesel – Do it. It is only a matter of time before the label's belt-skirts from the FW22 collection become the must-have piece, so you might as well jump on the bandwagon early.
