DJ Shadow has just surprise shared the news of a brand new double album. It’s titled Our Pathetic Age and is out November 15 on Mass Appeal.

The prolific DJ's LP is divided into an instrumental section and another featuring vocal contributions from some of the most iconic names in rap, including  Run the Jewels, Nas, De La Soul, Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killer, Raekwon, Future Islands’ Samuel T. Herring, Wiki, Paul Banks, and more.

Of the album DJ Shadow said on Twitter "Despite the title, 'Our Pathetic Age' is a hopeful, vibrant album. As an artist, I feel an obligation to interpret the world around me, and there's no denying that these times are fraught. Yet, always there is light in darkness, and that's the energy I have sought to harness."

The album is a follow-up to the 2017 The Mountain Has Fallen EP. DJ Shadow marked the announcement with a first listen of the experimental instrumental half of the album with the single "Rosie," listen to it below.
