Drake's storied history with battle rap is about to come full circle as he adds ultimate battle rap event host to his resume, with the announcement of "TIL DEATH DO US PART."

The fourth quarter of 2021 has been busy for Champagne Papi. From the release of his long-awaited Certified Lover Boy, streaming wars with his favorite nemesis Kanye, a music video that you love to hate, and a dip into golf wear with NOCTA, the workflow has been on one hundred.

A far cry from the relationship woes of Certified Lover Boy and feeling "Way 2 Sexy," "TIL DEATH DO US PART" sees him once again team up with Caffeine and URL.TV for the ultimate battle rap competition.

Throughout his career, Drake has made his love of battle rap clear. He's continued to give very vocal support to Murda Mook over the years and bagged himself the first-ever grammy-nominated diss track in 2016 with "Back 2 Back." Through his longstanding feud with G.O.O.D Music head honchos Pusha T and Kanye, Drizzy made it very clear that he's ready for the back and forth. Tracks like "Duppy Freestyle" and "Charged Up" came packaged with the type of scathing lyrics and personal jabs you'd find at the heart of battle rap competitions, making his declaration to LeBron – “I study rap battles for a living” – during an episode of The Shop an unsurprising revelation.

In his own words, "TIL DEATH DO US PART" is an event that brings dream "what if?" battles to life.

"These are battles that are fueled by rivalry, hate, a true chance to silence all the talk and definitely set up as moments that will rewrite legacy and rewrite legacy for some people," Drake says in his Instagram announcement.

Set to arrive via Caffeine and SMACK's URL in association with the Ultimate Rap League, the event boasts some of the biggest names in the sport. The loaded lineup includes face-offs between Loaded Lux and Geechi Gotti and Murda Mook against Eazy the Block Captain.

"TIL DEATH DO US PART" is scheduled to take place on October 30.
