Game of Thrones season 8 won’t arrive until 2019, but the possibility of the brains behind the action-packed "Rains of Castamere" and "Battle of Bastards" episodes — David Nutter and Miguel Saopchnik, respectively — are set to direct almost every episode of the final season will have fans drooling.

Winter is Coming, a GOT news and rumors aggregator, has worked out that Nutter will direct episodes 1, 2, and 4, while Sapochnik will direct episodes 3 and 5.

That leaves the show’s finale, which will be directed by showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss.

As well as directing the "Rains of Castemere" episode, also known as the "Red Wedding," Nutter was in charge during Cersei’s walk of shame in season 5, as well as the season 3 finale which involved Reek’s unfortunate “accident.” Sapochnik also specializes in big set pieces, particularly battles, which means Game of Thrones fans can probably expect deaths, dragons and lots of gore.

While you’re waiting for season 8,  watch Jamie Lannister play a disturbed Christmas elf on Jimmy Kimmel live.
