Someone check on Glenn Martens, because there's no way that man is getting any sleep these days.

In January, he put together one of the best Y/Project collections thus far, which included our personal favorite "trompe l'oeil" approach, collaborating with Jean Paul Gaultier on prints and graphics for the range.

At Haute Couture week, Martens debuted another collection. This time, he was the guest couturier for Jean Paul Gaultier, following sacai's Chitose Abe, and created yet another collection that social media just couldn't get enough of.

We also saw our former favorites, Julia Fox and Ye, thoroughly embracing the designer, as Fox received a whole hotel room filled with Diesel designs. "Every girl's dream," she said, and at this point, I really don't think she's wrong.

And then, his Magnum Opus: Diesel Fall/Winter 2022. Who would have thought that everyone would be rushing to wear Diesel in the year 2022? Not us, that's for sure.

You know you're killing it when Rihanna is wearing your designs, and at the Off-White™ show at Paris Fashion Week, Rihanna stepped out in a Diesel FW22 coat which was literally fresh of the runway. Of course, if one person should wear a one-of-a-kind jacket made of 100% shearling and vegetable-dyed leather, it's the Bad Gal herself.

Rihanna's maternity era has been the gift that keeps on giving, as she's tackling Fashion Month head (or belly) first wearing all the best looks. So far, we've seen everything from Gucci to Dior, and there's no doubt we'll be seeing her in another Diesel runway look in the next few months. Obviously, the Diesel mini-skirt is the new Miu Miu set.

If there's one thing we're certain of, it is that Glenn Martens is here to stay. From belt skirts and new it-bags to mastering couture, there's nothing he can't do – and he's a force to be reconned with.

And with Rihanna on his list of clients? Phew, we're in for a wild ride with plenty of looks to remember.
